The Vice President of Human Resources will be a strategic member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving impactful transformation and operational excellence across all human resources functions. As Cubic Transportation Systems embarks on a complete overhaul of its operating model, moving from a bespoke international organization to an India Digital Centric delivery model, we are looking for someone who can support leadership through change management of a significant right-shoring exercise to include a major transformation. The VP will play a critical role in shaping and executing the work needed to support this change for a large-scale infrastructure and digital organization with a primary focus on India. This leader will ensure that the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a high-performance, agile, and innovative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead organizational transformation initiatives in support of the overall business objectives. Champion change management programs that align people, culture, and our customer-first mindset.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient delivery of all people-related initiatives, with a significant focus on upskilling the organization, change management, significant talent acquisition, performance management, and HR analytics.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate talent needs, develop robust workforce plans, and support the organization's growth and transformation in a rapidly changing organization.
  • Leadership Development: Design and implement leadership and succession planning programs to cultivate future leaders and ensure organizational resilience.
  • Digital & Data-Driven HR: Leverage technology and data analytics to drive HR decision-making, monitor key HR metrics, and deliver actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing strategic counsel on all people matters. Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all labor laws, statutory regulations, and organizational policies, particularly within the EMEA, APAC, and Indian context.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant transformation and operational roles within large, complex organizations.
  • Proven track record in leading HR transformation, change management, and digitalization initiatives.
  • Experience in the infrastructure and/or digital/technology sectors is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the Indian labor market, employment laws, and cultural dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to influence at the highest levels.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large, diverse HR teams.
Location

This position needs to be based on the East Coast of the United States or in the London, UK as this position will operate frequently with teams in India. This position will require up to 50% travel.

Cubic Pay Range:

$275,000.00 - $325,000.00* + benefits.

*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
