Credentialing Specialist - Surgery - Days

What you will do:

• Under general supervision, responsible for coordinating the credentialing process which includes gathering all credentialing materials, maintaining records and documentation as well as ensuring compliance as required by regulatory agencies. Monitors current licensing, malpractice coverage and DEA information, communicates to supervisor and/or appropriate medical staff as necessary. Key functions also include maintaining up-to-date computer programs to record and/or update information as necessary.

What you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2 years previous managed care insurance or physician credentialing experience
