Ericsson, a global leader in providing innovative technologies and communications services, is seeking a competent and agile ICT Architect to join our dynamic technology team. As an ICT architect, your role involves developing principles, models, and guidelines from strategic inputs and translating them into practical and cost-effective solution architecture. You'll work closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and external customers, providing solutions that amplify their competitive stance. This role demands an individual capable of serving as an internal consultant across various IT areas, offering expertise, guidance, and innovative techniques to meet the growing demand.
What you will do:
- Extensive experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data architecture, and database design.
- Deep expertise in data modeling and semantic layer design, with the ability to translate complex business logic into scalable, high-performance data structures
- Proficiency with data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Looker) and a clear understanding of how data models enable effective self-service analytics.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python) and strong command of SQL.
- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management, ensuring models are trusted, well-documented, and reusable across teams.
- Exceptional ability to think from the business perspective - deeply understands how data informs key metrics, KPIs, and strategic decisions, and designs models that make those insights accessible and actionable.
- Adept at collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate business questions into technical designs and high-impact analytical datasets.
- Proven experience mentoring and leading data and analytics engineers, ensuring quality execution and alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
- Proactive and strategic mindset - anticipates business needs, identifies opportunities for improvement, and advocates for scalable, future-proof data solutions.
- Over 12 years of professional expertise as an Analytics Engineer, specializing in building Self-service data analytics platforms.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels.
The skills you bring:
- Lead the design and development of data architecture and pipelines to facilitate advanced AI and analytics solutions.
- Define the future of analytics by managing the delivery of universal semantic layer, conversational AI and enabling self-service analytics
- Manage the delivery of impactful dashboards and data visualizations
- Provide technical leadership across various analytics engineering projects by offering design guidance and overseeing development.
- Represent analysts' data needs across segments and product teams. Develop data literacy plans and training programs for both analyst and non-analyst audiences to increase adoption and understanding of data assets.
- Contribute to defining and communicating the long-term strategy and priorities for the data office
- Collaborate with data platform and infrastructure teams to architect and integrate high-quality, resilient data feeds from across the organization.
- Engage with current and emerging data platforms and assume accountability for data analytics design and architecture. Your extensive background in building analytics solutions, coupled with hands-on development experience will be essential for success.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Your Health
Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
