You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide exceptional customer service while assisting with various security-related needs. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting Allied Universal's commitment to client service.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual circumstances.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must comply with all hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
