The Finance Manager, Corporate Planning & Analysis will support the Director in executing strategic finance and FP&A projects that advance the organization's objectives. This role is responsible for day-to-day project management, financial analysis, planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely delivery of project milestones. The Manager will also have a dotted (helix) reporting line to the Chief of Staff for the Head of CP&A, collaborating on cross-functional initiatives and providing project updates as needed.

What the day will look like

  • Support the Director in planning, executing, and monitoring strategic finance and FP&A projects.
  • Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for CP&A projects.
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, and documentation for assigned initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning to inform project decisions and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff to the Head of CP&A on strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare project updates, presentations, and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Support change management activities related to new processes or systems.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements throughout project lifecycle.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate strategy, or finance project management.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or managing projects, preferably in a finance or FP&A function.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience working in matrixed environments.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 - $125,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, Illinois. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
