US Senior Account Rep

Senior Account Representative Colleagues help clients understand, manage and transfer risk through innovative reinsurance solutions. The role is immediately client-facing, offering exposure to high-level executives and decision-makers at clients and reinsurance providers. Senior Account Representatives work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. Candidates will develop comprehensive reinsurance market and industry knowledge while working on a variety of lines of business, including property, general and specialty casualty, and workers' compensation. Over time, colleagues will have increasing opportunities for domestic and international travel to client and reinsurer meetings and to take on expanded roles in developing strategic and innovative solutions for clients.

• Support broking teams in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing innovative solutions and strategic advice to address client needs
• Build out internal and external networks to assist in growth efforts
• Source new revenue opportunities
• Communicate with and participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements
• Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations
• Assist in the technical analysis of client information
• Collaborate with various supporting teams within Aon Reinsurance Solutions such as catastrophe modeling, actuarial and contract wording to bring the best of Aon to clients

• Proven analytical skills - prior analytical and problem-solving experience from academic and/or business environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, with intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Access is a strong plus.
• Excellent interpersonal well-rounded communication skills
• Ability to collaborate well with others and to interact with variety of audiences
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple assignments, work well with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Ability to think strategically and analytically and take initiative

2-5 years relevant work experience

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Economics, Finance, Math or other similarly quantitative or analytically oriented major preferred or equivalent experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $74,000 to $90,000 USD annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
