We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Facilities Manager to be the point of contact responsible for the daily team operations and management of a retail portfolio throughout North & South Dakota, Minneapolis, Wisconsin, and Northern Illinois. The Sr. FM reports into the IFM Retail Director, and will manage a team of 6 incredible Facility Managers, with a portfolio size of around ~350 locations totaling ~2.7M SF.

This is a remote role however the candidate must live within Minneapolis/St. Paul (Minnesota) or Chicago (Illinois).

Here is some of what you will do as a Sr. FM:

  • Provide leadership, vision and guidance to operations, maintenance, utility, and manufacturing support services functions while managing performance and outcomes of assigned staff
  • Maintain interface with third party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract (Lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolving critical impact tenant relations issues
  • Establish a "Safety First" culture on site and improve safety performance by championing awareness and changing all staff and partner safety behaviors
  • Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures including application of policies and programs, coordination of information
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations that pertain to operating facilities entrusted to Facility Partners
  • Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography while preparing, submitting, and managing facility budgets with clients' goals and objectives addressed
  • Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space within accounts' owned premises
  • Execute overall team management, staff development and planning including succession and growth plans, compensation planning, and building actionable and measurable career development plans for every direct report through consistent progress conversations and any other assigned duties

Skills/Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Facilities Management experience including extensive people management skills and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solbing abilities
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and extrernal customer service
  • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices
  • Experience with Excel and the ability to analyze data

Pay $125,000-140,000 with a 20% targeted bonus of the annual salary

Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift with on-call required 24/7 for emergency responses

Estimated compensation for this position:

125,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
