What this job involves:

Join JLL as an HVAC Technician where you'll play a critical role in maintaining optimal facility operations for our clients through expert management of HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This position requires a skilled professional who can ensure maximum equipment efficiency, energy conservation, and minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and strategic repairs. You'll be responsible for comprehensive facility maintenance including interior and exterior inspections, troubleshooting complex HVAC/R systems, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and client satisfaction. This role directly contributes to JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional facility management services while supporting our clients' operational success and occupancy satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and emergency repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and installed systems

* Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior components

* Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence assessments, documenting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations

* Complete required safety training, hazard assessments, and maintain compliance with State, County, and City codes and regulations

* Update work order status in real-time using CMMS system and perform vehicle safety inspections

* Attend mandatory work and safety meetings while maintaining availability for emergency call-in assignments

* Ensure proper housekeeping and safety protocols across all work areas while identifying and proposing solutions for potential hazards

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum 4 years of technical experience in building engineering with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, and electrical repair background

* Universal EPA 608 Certification (non-negotiable)

* Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R system design, applications, and troubleshooting methodologies

* Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills for client interaction

* Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions

* Ability to work from heights up to 30 feet while carrying tool bag (approximately 20 lbs)

* Availability for emergency call-in work and flexible scheduling requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

* Working knowledge of computer applications including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CMMS software

* Two years of trades school education or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC

* Experience with energy management systems and building automation controls

* Previous facility management or commercial building maintenance experience

* Additional trade certifications in electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration systems

Location: Hopkinsville, KY.

Shift:

Days: Monday - Friday

Start Time: 7 AM - 3:30 pm

Estimated compensation for this position is: $27 -$40 /hour

The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
