Key Responsibilities & Functional Areas The Assistant Complex Director of F&B drives operational excellence and financial performance across all resort dining and beverage venues. Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Oversight: Direct daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and catering services.
- Brand Standards: Ensure every venue delivers a unique, high-quality guest experience consistent with the resort's luxury brand standards.
- Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute specialized operational strategies for the diverse offerings, optimizing efficiency from casual to upscale environments.
- Planning: Contribute to long-term F&B strategies, aligning offerings with current market trends and overall resort objectives.
- Project Management: Lead special projects focused on enhancing service quality, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.
Financial Management & Profitability
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and rigorous management of departmental budgets, ensuring alignment with resort financial goals.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor financial performance, accurately analyze variances, and implement decisive corrective actions to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Cost Control: Oversee comprehensive inventory management, cost control measures, and procurement processes to maximize operational efficiency.

- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a large, diverse team of F&B professionals and associates across all venues.

- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and oversee targeted training initiatives.
Compliance, Quality & Guest Experience
- Standards & Safety: Champion the highest level of quality and service. Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold compliance, quality, and safety standards across all venues.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all F&B operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, labor laws, and food safety requirements.
- Guest Relations: Promptly address guest feedback and concerns, implementing improvements based on insights to champion personalized service and innovative offerings.
Qualifications & Employment Standards Education & Experience
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior food and beverage management role (e.g., Assistant Director, Director, General Manager) within a luxury resort or hotel environment.
- Scope: Proven experience overseeing and successfully managing multiple, diverse dining and beverage venues, including both casual and fine dining establishments.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience required.
