General Duties:

  • Training Implementation & Delivery

  • Coordinate with HR and department leaders to ensure all required training is completed and documented.
  • Assist in preparing for audits by ensuring all training and service certifications are current.

Leadership Development & Emerging Leaders

  • Identify high-potential associates and support their development through "Emerging Leader" and "MIT" programs.
  • Coach supervisors and managers in effective training techniques, feedback, and accountability methods.
  • Facilitate round-ups, pre-shift energizers, and leadership sessions that reinforce service culture and team motivation.

Service & Operational Excellence

  • Be capable of performing all major F&B positions to effectively demonstrate and teach standards.
  • Conduct periodic service audits and follow-up trainings to address gaps and reinforce excellence.
  • Partner with Culinary and Beverage leaders to conduct vendor and product knowledge training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Training to enhance resort-wide training systems, tools, and metrics.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Research training practices from luxury hotels and integrate best-in-class methods into resort programs.
  • Leverage technology platforms (SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, etc.) to streamline communication and tracking.
  • Regularly review guest feedback, audit scores, and departmental performance to identify training needs and improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with other departments as assigned.

Employment Standards

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations in a luxury or full-service resort environment.
  • Prior experience in training, learning & development, or leadership coaching preferred.
  • Knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide or Preferred Hotels service standards strongly preferred.
  • TABC and Food Handler certifications required.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills (English required; Spanish bilingual preferred).
