As a Security Officer - Telecom Site Patrol Driver in Carleton, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a leading technology, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. This driving post requires you to navigate the premises, interact with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the tech, media, or telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues, with working environments that may vary by location.
• Monitor for any unusual activity, potential hazards, or unauthorized individuals and report findings according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Support access control measures by observing entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required by the site's security-related protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and accurately in Allied Universal reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
