Security Professional - Distribution Entry Control

As a Security Professional - Distribution Entry Control in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and direction according to site policies and procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing entry and exit points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document security-related activities and observations through detailed reports and logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual conditions and/or activity, adapting to varying environments and conditions.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies tailored to the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
