Description & Requirements The Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard seeks a talented and highly motivated individual for Laboratory Operations Coordinator to plan and coordinate operational activities in support of the Cancer Program scientific projects. This position affords the exciting opportunity to support a large team of scientists working on cutting-edge genomics, cancer biology, and drug discovery and will work closely with other operational and administrative staff across the program. Broad Institute provides a vibrant research environment with close links to top academic institutions across the Boston Area. The successful candidate will report to the Cancer Program's Laboratory Operations Manager and will work collaboratively with the program's scientific groups to support the day-to-day tactical needs of the teams that are being met and to ensure that our laboratories remain compliant with relevant policies and established protocols. A foundational level of scientific knowledge, a hands-on approach to laboratory operations, strong customer service skills, along with a demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize competing priorities is required. The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
