The American Red Cross is currently seeking an International Technical Program Analyst III, Business Planning.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Under guidance of the Manager, Business Planning & Analysis, support digital systems, and products to ensure implementation of American Red Cross's programs and activities in ISD and SAF to include disasters, conflicts, and health emergencies. Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and support to directly address needs and organizational/movement challenges in accordance with specified objectives in areas such as operations, administration, budget, business information systems, and planning. Document and share key learnings and knowledge gained through this process to improve future practice within the American Red Cross. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD:

1. Develop and create complex modeling and reporting tools for monitoring and analyzing performance and data integrity. Maintain historical data to develop historical trends and analysis.

2. Perform complex analyses of ISD and SAF programs and operations. In collaboration with DMERL and Business Operations teams, develop metrics for and monitor performance of business units, with a focus on International Response KPI's and associated response data along with supporting global divisions.

3. Provide business user support for RC Project and related systems. Work with business to gather feedback regarding needs for training, system updates, or documentation for the business. Create or update training and business process documentation based on analysis and identified needs.

4. Produce and review digital and information products produced by department for accuracy and consistency. Publish and organize information and process documentation for department in a way that is easily accessible.

5. Create and maintain information products to communicate department activities in Power BI, PowerPoint, Excel, ArcGIS and RC Project.

6. Support knowledge management, to include RC Project documentation, departmental data, analysis, and other similar support. Provide Governed Meeting Support to include supporting teams in providing information, supporting facilitation, and preparing visuals.

7. During scalable disasters, support response team in collection and visualization of response information.

8. Under the guidance of Manager, Business Planning & Analysis, align with corporate guidance and standards for enterprise analytics, data warehouse and information security standards, and other corporate standards. Work collaboratively with HS Operations, Business Systems Integration, and Resource Mobilization teams to ensure alignment.

9. Onboard, engage, and manage a team of volunteers to further the work of the American Red Cross mission.

Scope:
Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying subject matter knowledge. Knowledge based acquired from several years of experience in particular area. Work independently and may instruct or coach other professionals.

PAY INFORMATION

The salary range for this position is (Washington, DC): $89,040 -$118,680.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

This role is not eligible for relocation assistance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: N/A
Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of applicable principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Basic proficiency in use of Personal Computer, word-processing, spreadsheet applications, and database applications when applicable. Ability to work on a team.

Key Competencies: Attention to Detail; Customer Savvy; Analysis

Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state, and Red Cross system.

* Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE:

Advanced Excel skills, experience in PBI Report Building and SalesForce experience preferred.
