If you're ready to be a trusted sales business partner, we want to meet you.What You'll Be Doing:Partnering closely with field sales teams to evaluate, propose, and architect deal structures that drive quality growth and competitive advantage.Acting as a trusted advisor to sales, legal, finance, and operations stakeholders to ensure deals are not only bookable but strategically sound.Championing a consultative approach to deal evaluation, moving beyond transactional "paperwork" to assess the overall value and fit of each opportunity.Analyzing competitive landscapes, customer needs, and renewal opportunities to recommend optimal deal terms and pricing strategies.Ensuring all deals comply with internal policies while identifying creative solutions to complex business challenges.Contributing to the development of new processes, tools, and best practices that elevate the role of the deal desk as a business enabler.Leading or supporting special projects to improve sales effectiveness and deal quality across the organization.The Impact You Will Have:Elevate the quality and strategic value of deals booked at Synopsys, supporting sustainable business growth.Enhance collaboration and trust between sales, legal, finance, and operations, driving faster and more effective deal cycles.Help shape the future of sales enablement by transitioning the deal desk function to a consultative, quality-driven model.Reduce risk and improve compliance through expert deal evaluation and policy adherence.Support growth in software renewals and competitive displacements by identifying and supporting high-potential opportunities.Empower field teams with guidance and insights that lead to better customer outcomes and stronger revenue streams.What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.8+ years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, or a related role within a high-tech or enterprise environment.Experience communicating at an executive level.Strong knowledge of deal structuring, commercial terms, and sales processes in EDA, software, or IP licensing.Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at multiple levels.Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM, Excel, and sales enablement tools.Experience analyzing complex business scenarios and making data-driven recommendations.Who You Are:Strategic thinker with a consultative, business partner approach to problem-solving.Process-oriented yet agile in adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.Exceptional communicator, able to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.Collaborative, inclusive, and committed to fostering a positive team environment.Proactive, resourceful, and driven by a passion for continuous improvement.The Team You'll Be A Part Of:You'll join the Sales Operations team at Synopsys-a high-performing group dedicated to empowering sales success and driving operational excellence.
