The Director of Facility Services is responsible for administering and directing programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment, to procure or generate all utilities and their distribution systems and coordinate these activities with the other departments to insure safe and efficient operation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. College degree OR Seven (7) years of facilities management experience in place of college degree. 2. Two (2) years' experience managing and supervising, preferably hospital personnel. Should include physical plants, buildings and grounds experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE: 1. Five (5) years' experience managing and supervising, preferably hospital personnel. Should include physical plants: buildings and grounds experience. Assists in the creation, maintenance and promotion of the organization's mission, vision, and goals with respect to safety and quality of care, financial sustainability, community service, and ethical behavior. 11. Evaluates statistical reports for completeness and accuracy and forwards information as required, compiles data for Safety and various hospital committees, Medical Staff, and Board of Directors. 12. Works with Quality Assurance, Risk Management Director, and other hospital directors to implement committee recommendations, monitor effectiveness, and improve the Safety Program. 13. Plans, organizes, evaluates, and critiques the Hospital Disaster Program; plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates the Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) program.
