Job Title: Senior Account Sales Representative

Location: Richmond, VA

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with our customers, sales teams, and internal teams to initiate front-end processes and help deliver exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Lead strategic account management by serving as the primary liaison for key customers, delivering tailored support and ensuring consistent, high-level communication
  • Oversee complex product configurations and ensure the delivery of precise quotations and comprehensive order packages for strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate the viability of customer requests for custom product configurations
  • Articulate the value of company product/service offerings
  • Support sales managers and Representative groups with quoting and order processing
  • Oversee all aspects of a customer's account, including coordinating pickups, handling

billing inquiries, and monitoring delivery status

  • Identify, anticipate, and manage issues that impact customers, both internally and externally, and work to resolve them efficiently
  • Cultivate collaborative partnerships with internal teams including Transportation, Operations, Finance, and IT to effectively advocate for the customer
  • Spot account improvement opportunities and clearly communicate recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity and customer satisfaction
  • Provide guidance and support to offshore Account Representatives in Cebu, ensuring alignment with team standards, processes, and customer service expectations.

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in account management/ inside sales or 10 years in account management / inside sales

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PP)
  • Ability to read & interpret store fixture plans

To be a great fit for the role:

  • Experience in an OEM manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with AS400 or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to read and interpret store fixture plans
  • Basic Refrigeration product knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
