Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in North Carolina, with 15-20% travel expected to Raleigh, Phoenix, AZ or other areas where First Citizens Bank maintains offices.

The Enterprise Digital Product organization drives all digital initiatives at First Citizens Bank. The Digital Enterprise Solutions team is focused on building an omnichannel digital onboarding experience as well as driving consistent enterprise practices and solutions horizontally across the organization. This position leads strategic planning for the accelerated profitability and growth of business products; manages innovative and profitable products based on customer engagement, quantitative analysis, and market trends; coordinates all functions of development from conception to implementation; implements enhancements, monitors customer experience, and ensures compliance with best practices. This position may also provide leadership for the work group through knowledge in the area of Digital Banking.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a very strong product management background, be well steeped in design thinking, client/user experience principles, agile delivery methodologies and will have a data driven approach to decision making while thriving in a high-performance and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Lead product discovery, set product strategy, own the product roadmap and KPIs.
  • Actively listen while gathering requirements to understand needs and pain points. This includes maintaining an ideas backlog and keeping stakeholders informed about the status of their ideas/requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like IT, Project Management, third-party vendors, UX design teams and multiple business units to implement enhancements and monitor workflows.
  • Support the Product Owner with data analysis needs, backlog maintenance, user story grooming and increment planning.
  • May participate in User Acceptance Testing of the delivered solution and post-production validation to determine alignment of the solution to business needs.
  • Handle complex and escalated product issues and solutions while collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Manage prioritization in an ever-changing environment based on enterprise initiatives, business impact and user value.
  • Advocate for the end-users and ensure the app solves their problems effectively.
  • Define overall success metrics for the product.
  • Organize and lead internal stakeholder reviews at key points of development.
  • Must possess strong influencing and negotiating skills across all levels in the organization and must be confident in presenting and/or demoing to all levels from business users to executives.
  • Manage internal and external user experience through all stages of the product and serve as the primary liaison with business stakeholders on customer and business process lifecycle management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Product Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Product Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in Digital Onboarding.
  • Experience with Fenergo Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, Salesforce and/or other workflow management tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of APIs in building an omnichannel digital platform.

Key skills required:

  • Proven experience in digital solutions product management within the financial services industry.
  • Deep knowledge of branch and digital deposit and lending solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and customer-centric mindset focused on improving productivity and experience.
  • Excellent communication.
