In the CEIE role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of industry professionals across the Information Technology (IT) and Critical Environments (CE) spectrum within Microsoft 24x7x365 mission-critical datacenters. Come drive engineering excellence, risk mitigation, and operational blueprint implementation. Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CE IE, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Develop end-to-end expertise in Industrial Control Systems (ICS), including interactions between technology layers, components, infrastructure functions, and dependencies at scale.Independently adjust configurations and define infrastructures to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of ICS.Create new procedures and processes to self-perform changes on ICS.Create, monitor, and act on telemetry data; influence analytics to identify patterns revealing errors or inefficiencies.Respond to incidents per DC Incident Management Tier Support process, including complex issues with major business impact; troubleshoot, deploy fixes, and implement lessons learned.Drive reviews with partner teams that design, commission, and operate ICS, identifying operational efficiencies and sharing recommendations.Embody our culture and values
