OverviewFoundry Models team is responsible for providing serverless access to a wide selection of models from providers such as DeepSeek, Mistral AI, Cohere, and Meta. We are at the forefront of large-scale AI inferencing, working with the latest state-of-the-art models and ensuring our platform can offer the right AI capabilities to anyone, from the individual developer to large enterprise customers and enable Agentic Integrations across the AI Foundry. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will get the opportunity to contribute to features across the stack for growing list of enterprise customers and work on hard performance and optimization problems with inference runtimes and compute. We are looking for someone who is highly technical, hands-on and comfortable with handling complex problems and driving solutions with multiple partner teams and embraces our Microsoft cultural values of inclusion and caring.
ResponsibilitiesLead design and development of scalable and high-performance systems. Provides technical leadership during code reviews for a solution/product area to ensure it meets the team's and Microsoft's quality standards Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning. Innovate and optimize features for performance and reliability. Collaborate across teams to align goals and deliverables.
