What you will do
The Health Care Vertical Account Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls' security offerings within the health care vertical market segment. This role involves leveraging relationships and closing new business while ensuring customer retention. The individual will serve as the Johnson Controls security brand steward, articulating our story and demonstrating our commitment to providing innovative security solutions that enhance safety and operational efficiency. The Health Care Vertical Account Executive will secure profitable sales and upgrades to health care clients, maximizing customer satisfaction and retention through initiating post-installation follow-ups. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of our security offerings and services.
How you will do it
- Adhere to current Johnson Controls policies, procedures, products, programs, and services.
- Create new market share by selling Johnson Controls security offerings to health care segment customers.
- Sell additional services to existing accounts that present new sales opportunities.
- Sell add-ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet their expectations.
- Renew existing customer agreements.
- Responsible for identifying resale opportunities within an assigned territory, utilizing creative lead-generating techniques and maintaining productive working relationships with existing customers.
- Independently establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies, applying effective time and territory management techniques.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospects.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete line of security services/systems and customer needs through training and research.
- Obtain referrals and collaborate with Centers of Influence.
- Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved procedures.
- Conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and verify that commitments were met.
What we look for
Required
- Demonstrated experience in Commercial Security Sales.
- Demonstrated experience selling to Health Care segment
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior-level executives.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule and travel locally as needed.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
Preferred
- College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a successful sales representative in the security or technology industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $64k-85k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience,knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) **Thisrole also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account project, quarterly, and annualmargin.
