Are you passionate about empowering youth and building community connections? Achieve MKE is seeking a Community Connector to engage and support young people ages 14-25 through mentorship, advocacy, and community outreach. This position is located in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas.

As a Community Connector, you'll help young people (our Achievers) navigate pathways to education, employment, and lifelong success. You'll also serve as a bridge between Achieve MKE and the Milwaukee community-leading outreach events, developing partnerships, and uplifting youth voices through storytelling and social media engagement.

We strongly encourage applicants to apply that have their own lived experience in urban or 'disadvantaged' communities.

Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (some evenings and weekends required, particularly between May-September)

Key Responsibilities of the Community Connector:

  • Build trusting, trauma-informed relationships with youth and families.

  • Coordinate individualized support plans, including mentoring, referrals, and skill-building.

  • Represent Achieve MKE and Norris at community events and outreach activities.


  • Foster inclusive, safe, and welcoming spaces that promote belonging.


  • Collaborate with schools, local organizations, and employers to expand opportunities for youth.

  • Contribute to communication efforts and social media strategies that highlight youth success and community connection.
