About the Position... The Underwriter I - Portfolio Risk Management (U/W I - PRM) along with the other credit support staff, works closely with the Director of Portfolio Risk Management to evaluate portfolio risk. The loan portfolio include, but are not limited to: commercial real estate and term loans; secured lines of credit; and business express unsecured requests. In addition to evaluating the portfolio risk, the incumbent assists in completing credit analysis; monitoring loan disbursements and compliance with loan terms; and setting up systems, products and services associated with the lending functions of United Business Bank. The U/W I - PRM completes financial analysis, develops annual reviews and covenant monitoring, and assists Client Relationship Manager (CRM) in determining risk. The U/W I - PRM interacts with clients to discuss annual reviews and obtain and evaluate appropriate information relative to the monitoring.The U/W I - PRM demonstrates strong teamwork and adaptability to support their function and to assist the Director of Portfolio Risk Management with other duties as assigned. All duties are performed accurately, timely, and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications
