This is a unique opportunity to lead the Americas Partnerships team at a transformative moment, across verticals (i.e., fashion, beauty, and entertainment), partner types (i.e., publishers, merchants, creators), and partnerships models (i.e., high-touch to community-managed). As the leader for our Americas content partnership strategy, you will act as both a key stakeholder and driving force across complex cross-functional projects, bringing together the right stakeholders, developing frameworks, aligning on tradeoffs, and advancing key initiatives. As a senior leader at the company, you will also be contributing to, influencing, and driving key cross-functional work-streams and company-level priorities that span region, function, and teams.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and inspire the AMER partnerships team of 20+ partner managers and people managers who work across a range of verticals, re-orienting the team for scale and ecosystem impact.
  • Define and refine team goals to align with broader company priorities, ensuring measurable impact on Pinterest's content ecosystem and business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive creator strategy in the Americas, identifying and nurturing creators and curators, encouraging deeper engagement, and partnering with product teams to build the foundation for a sustainable creation and monetization flywheel.
  • Partner closely and collaboratively across the Content and cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR and others to expand impactful content supply, engagement, relevance, and revenue via content.
  • Align and support the successful rollout of Pinterest's new product, sales and marketing efforts.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder and driving force across complex, cross-functional projects, developing frameworks, aligning on tradeoffs, and advancing key initiatives that support company-level priorities.
  • Must have and apply a keen understanding of insights into the rapidly evolving content and technology space and synthesize recommendations into actionable plans for Pinterest's global content efforts.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance within the team, empowering them to identify and deploy impactful tactics to further develop our content footprint.

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years working with complex online digital distribution with increasing responsibility and scope, including 5+ years as a team leader.
  • Experience working across functions and teams, with the ability to flex into different roles: from leading day-to-day projects, providing strategic counsel at the executive level, and providing leadership to a team of diverse professionals.
  • Deep expertise in building and scaling partnership management functions within a platform or digital ecosystem, including success in evolving teams and scaling impact.
  • Proven track record of analyzing and synthesizing complicated and ambiguous information, solving complex problems, providing visionary leadership in digital value creation.
  • A firm understanding of digital media and digital commerce.
  • Excellent communications and organizational skills, with the ability to clearly articulate vision, strategy, and results to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization.
  • A deep understanding of the creator economy, content ecosystems, and monetization models within digital platforms.
  • Team management experience is required for this role, and the right candidate will have led geographically dispersed teams and been responsible for their performance, career development, and hiring.
  • MBA preferred, Bachelor's degree in business, advertising or marketing, a related field or equivalent experience.
