The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing CCS's growth strategy and the evolving needs within Marketing Operations supporting either Medical Field Sales, Enterprise Services, and Patient Experience. The individual in this position will be responsible for designing and executing multi-channel marketing initiatives targeted at healthcare providers (HCPs) to enhance field engagement, increase referrals, and accelerate activation, ultimately contributing to expanded market share in the diabetes sector for Medical Field Sales. For Enterprise Services, the focus will be on developing integrated marketing programs that guide prospects and customers through the sales funnel. Additionally, for Patient Experience this role will support communications efforts and promote the CCS brand, articulating the unique value proposition to new and existing patients to drive engagement, and increasing conversions to keep patients on therapy.

Able to travel; this role will require up to 20% travel

Responsibilities

Enterprise Services

Lead Generation, Execution, and Sales Support:

    Assist in the development and execution of omnichannel demand generation campaigns to attract, nurture, and convert prospects and customers across Health Plan, Employer Group, Broker, and HCP audiences.
  • Plan and implement targeted email campaigns to promote product offerings, drive adoption, and improve customer retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on content creation, event planning, social media, and other programs to generate demand for CCS products and services.
  • Utilize segmentation strategies and dynamic fields to maximize email campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct training sessions for personnel regarding sales and marketing initiatives as well as collateral resources.
  • Manage sales collateral, presentations, and supplementary materials.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to enhance marketing materials and grow market share.
  • Align with Enterprise and Medical Field Sales teams to synchronize in-market activation with new health plan coverage initiatives.

Marketing Operations:

  • Contribute to the establishment and oversight of Marketo and Salesforce working groups, ensuring data integrity and adherence to best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders and content coordinators to plan and deliver webinars.
  • Ensure all marketing materials conform to brand identity standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency by updating processes as necessary and documenting standard procedures.
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Provide directions to the creative team in developing marketing collateral and resources.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with external collaborators, manage digital assets, and stay informed about product releases.
  • Oversee print and promotional offerings, including e-store and vendor management, as well as project-based work assignments.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using Salesforce, Marketo, and web analytics; deliver insights and regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Report on market research findings to inform outreach strategies and optimize conversion rates.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through rigorous tracking, analysis, and ongoing optimization.

Patient Experience

  • Administer the CCS marketing technology stack, including Marketo and related platforms, partnering with IT to optimize automation, segmentation, and integration with internal systems such as PIMs and Salesforce.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and Marketing to facilitate improvements and system optimizations.
  • Develop comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with broader marketing objectives to enhance patient engagement.
  • Create and execute multi-channel patient journey campaigns through email, SMS, direct mail, and outbound calling, supporting patient onboarding and retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define audience segments and campaign goals.
  • Optimize, schedule, and monitor campaigns via the marketing automation platform.
  • Coordinate scalable A/B testing of email subject lines, calls to action, and campaign elements.
  • Maintain the email marketing calendar and participate in Marketo user group management.
  • Track and analyze campaign metrics, presenting actionable insights and summaries to stakeholders.
  • Work with Operations to maintain database quality and establish contact information best practices.
  • Ensure cohesive collaboration across business functions, providing a seamless customer experience throughout the patient journey.
  • Oversee relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors, particularly those related to Marketo.
  • Provide additional support for brand and marketing projects as needed, including some program management responsibilities.

Medical Field Sales

Strategy & Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of integrated marketing plans consistent with business objectives and field sales goals.
  • Conduct research to better understand HCP behaviors, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying new channels and markets for expansion.
  • Lead deliverables associated with positioning rollouts in collaboration with marketing leadership.
  • Track budgets and campaign timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Campaign Management & Implementation:

  • Execute multi-channel campaigns-including digital, email, social, and in-field activities-to drive referrals and provider engagement.
  • Optimize campaign outcomes to meet defined KPIs, such as lead generation and referral volumes.
  • Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling, provider-facing content.
  • Analyze campaign data and translate findings into meaningful insights to guide future initiatives.

Brand Building, PR, and Thought Leadership:

  • Uphold consistency with CCS's brand identity in all HCP-focused communications.
  • Support brand-building projects to reinforce the organization's credibility with providers and industry partners.
  • Assist with PR initiatives and thought leadership, including content distribution and participation in industry events as needed.

Vendor Management:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, evaluating products and services to achieve optimal ROI.
  • Supervise the execution of print and promotional materials, maintaining quality and brand alignment.
  • Oversee the management of the CCS eShop and regularly audit its content for brand compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date collateral in the Field Sales Digital Repository and the Marketing SharePoint.

Event Management:

  • Organize logistics and provide marketing support for trade shows, including booth management, lead capture, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate regional and national sales meetings, working closely with field and marketing leadership to deliver impactful content and cohesive themes.
  • Enhance attendee experiences through effective event planning and execution.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Learning:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Clinical, and Operations functions to align marketing efforts with go-to-market strategies.
  • Remaining current with industry trends, digital marketing innovations, and best practices in healthcare marketing.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and support a collaborative environment within the marketing team.
  • Monitor competitive activity and recommend adjustments to campaigns as appropriate.


Desired Outcomes

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Marketing or a related field from four-year college or university
  • 5+ years of proven growth marketing experience
  • Previous healthcare marketing experience preferred
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in sales support marketing/communications
  • Critical thinking and ability to maintain focus while juggling multiple tasks
  • Outstanding creative ideation, marketing execution, and organizational skills
  • Analytical skills to forecast, identify, and report out trends and challenges
  • Professional presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Marketo (ESP), Salesforce, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • A sense of aesthetics and a good eye for design
