Overview and Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Director of Diabetic/Diabetes Sales to join our team. In this position, you are responsible for growing targeted product lines and overall sales by developing and implementing strategic sales programs internally and externally as defined by Chief Sales Officer (CSO), to enhance the overall success and growth of Rotech Healthcare with the development and enhancement of sales programs, sales materials, on-boarding and education tools and Sales Academy. This position pays between $100k/yr. - $125k/yr. depending on related experience and state hired in.

  • 100% REMOTE Work from Home day one of employment; Must live in the US and live within 60 miles of any Rotech Location

  • Build and grow high-level, long-term, trusted consultative relationships with high level healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with manufacturer's reps to effectively position Rotech Healthcare's services for growth versus competitors
  • Educate and coach Rotech's field sales team about Diabetes and product use
  • Further develop Rotech Healthcare's national diabetes program and sales and marketing material
  • Manage the success of the customer accounts by meeting/exceeding the goals and objectives identified by Rotech Healthcare
  • Position Rotech Healthcare's offering to match a customers' unique business needs
  • Present a moderately complex broad-based portfolio of solutions that meet Cardinal Health and customer goals
  • Sell the benefits of Rotech Healthcare for the Diabetes portfolio with potential customers including insurance payers, hospitals, diabetic education centers and Endocrinology offices
  • Work with field sales team to generate new business across the company
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Travel via airplane and/or vehicle as needed

Qualifications

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Experience in medical sales analysis, revenue management and basic corporate financial structure
  • Experience in RT/DME/Diabetics/Diabetes sales or healthcare industry sales, preferred
  • Five years of related work experience, preferred

  • Ability to understand sales analysis, revenue management and basic corporate financial structure
  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
  • Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information

  • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities
  • Work independently and as part of a team

  • Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet

Physical Demands

  • Lift and carry office equipment at times
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. during travel
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork; utilize computer for extensive hours
  • Travel via airplane and/or vehicle as needed
