We are seeking aBusiness Consultantwith experience inAnti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions Compliance, andthird-party risk management, combined with strongtechnical acumenin data science, programming, and solution integration. This role is pivotal to expanding our due diligence and screening capabilities acrossNorth America supporting complex client engagements and driving innovation in risk intelligence.

You will serve as atechnical SMEand strategic partner to sales, product, and delivery teams, helping clients implement and optimize LSEG's AML and sanctions screening solutions. This includes leading RFPs, designing custom integrations, and advising on data architecture and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as atechnical and subject matter expertin AML/Sanctions screening, supporting sales and client engagements across the Americas.
  • Lead strategic opportunities and RFPs, translating client needs into tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implementAPI-based integrations, data pipelines, and screening workflows.
  • Scope and deliverbespoke projectsusing LSEG Risk Intelligence data and tools, including custom analytics and reporting.
  • Provide guidance ondata modeling, transformation, and enrichmentto support risk decisioning.
  • Support thesales processby contributing to lead qualification, opportunity scoping, and solution positioning.
  • Partner with sales teams tomanage complex sales cycles, ensuring alignment between client needs and technical capabilities.
  • Represent LSEG at industry events and client meetings, showcasing our technical capabilities and thought leadership.
  • Stay current on regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the AML and third-party risk space.
  • Champion thevoice of the customerin product development and strategy discussions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ yearsof experience in AML, sanctions compliance, or third-party risk, with a strong technical orientation.
  • Proficient inPython, Java, or other programming languagesused for data processing, automation, or integration.
  • Experience withdata science concepts, including data wrangling, feature engineering, and model deployment.
  • Familiarity withAPI technologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and enterprise data architectures.
  • Proven ability totranslate complex technical conceptsinto business value for clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; comfortable engaging with compliance teams, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience insales support or solution consulting, with a strong understanding ofsales process management.
  • Knowledge of key regulations (e.g., OFAC, FinCEN, FATF) and industry standards in financial crime and due diligence.
  • Ability to travel across the Americas as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withscreening platforms, watchlist management, and adverse media analytics.
  • Background inconsulting or solution engineeringwithin a financial services or RegTech environment.
  • Understanding ofmachine learning applicationsin risk scoring or anomaly detection is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $83,000 - $138,400. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
