Join our Systems Planning and Architecture (SPARC) team within Microsoft's Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure (AHSI) organization and be a part of the organization behind Microsoft's expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft's "Intelligent Cloud" mission. Microsoft delivers more than 200 online services to more than one billion individuals worldwide and AHSI is the team behind our expanding cloud infrastructure. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's cloud businesses including Microsoft Azure, Bing, MSN, Office 365, OneDrive, Skype, Teams and Xbox Live. The SPARC organization manages Azure's hardware roadmap from architecture concept through production for all of Microsoft's current and future on-line services. You will be involved with all phases of product development, from design through manufacturing and supply chain, and into high scale deployment. You'll work closely with our engineers and architects, and also our peer teams (including Azure Core, Azure Security, and SCHIE) to plan and deliver solutions into the fleet leveraging well-known processes we've used to deliver new capabilities into Azure. ResponsibilitiesCollaboratewith customers and partner organizations to drive a hardware accelerator and server infrastructure initiative for Azure data centers.Identifyand prioritize customer needs, market opportunities, and competitive gaps, and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements and specifications.Lead the strategic product vision and drive internal alignment among wide-ranging cross-functional stakeholders to define the hardware technology platform plan of record.Lead technical programs from concept to execution, collaborating with architecture, engineering and business teams to develop and drive end-to-end product development.Establish platform and front end network prioritization strategies based on workload analysis. Track dependencies across SoC, OS, agents, networking, and telemetry. Work closely with supply teams to mitigate risks related to hardware availability and timeline shifts.Engage with senior leadership, highlighting risksacross functional teamsand providing recommendations to support product level decisions.Operate effectively in ambiguity. Apply process where it creates value, and design process where it's needed. Recognize the situations where each approach is most appropriate. | |
