Placement Type: Temp to Perm
The Product Theater / Contract Specialist will work to manage third party Speaker events from
end to end. This person will lead all communications and act as the main point of contact with
the society where the speaking event will be held, conduct a viability assessment through
contracting, and manage all logistical requirements. Contracting would include drafting a Letter of Agreement and working with the society's and
internal legal/compliance review to negotiate and align on terms. Additionally, the Product
Theater / Contract Specialist will manage timelines and monitor key milestones to ensure
events are on-track. This role requires a lot of juggling of projects and working through different
phases of execution. Job Description
* Negotiates Letters of Agreement with societies according to SOP, suggests terms and conditions, and gains internal legal/compliance approval through a redline process
* Manages Letters of Agreement templates and assesses need for template changes
* Collaborates with MEE Shared Services Ops Team leads to ensure quality, compliant peer to peer program execution
* Documents all information to hand off a fully approved contract.
* Creates and/or updates Working Instructions related to key areas for event execution, pull through, enhancements in alignment with compliant ways of working.
* Responsible for working with Medical Education Engagement Shared Services Lead, MEE Ops Lead and MEE Training Lead to implement and lead change management planning
* Collaborates with MEE Shared Services Ops Team leads to ensure quality, compliant peer to peer program execution
* Serves as cross functional partner and liaison with Marketing (e.g. Scientific Strategy Lead) to effectively communicate next steps related to Medical Education events, LOA, etc. per guidance from commercial/legal.
* Ability to seek new innovative ways of working from vendors/societies that would align to company policy/guardrails. Skills
* Paralegal, Operations, and Compliance experience
* Extensive experience in negotiating contracts
* Strong project management skills, facilitation skills, and ability to drive results
* Proven ability to manage several programs/projects simultaneously
* Demonstrates follow up and ability to deliver on time or communicate needed adjustments
* Ability to work independently and lead cross-functionally with team members, legal, compliance, marketing stakeholders in order to gain the appropriate input and approvals
* Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to understand, distill and communicate sometimes complex information for various audiences
* Demonstrated excellent negotiation skills
* Events/conference management experience helpful The target hiring compensation for this role is $95K. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
