What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to observe activities and help to deter unwanted behaviors.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and exiting the location to support a secure environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences promptly according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local emergency responders as needed to address potential or actual emergencies.
• Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence to assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to those at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
