What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry points and screen individuals as required by location protocols, maintaining awareness of access control policies.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or issues encountered during patrols or screening duties.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
