How you will make history here...

The Sales Planning Manager is a key part of the Sales Planning Team acting as an extension of the field sales teams, providing input and analytics around TPM plan building and execution. This role will work in conjunction with Customer Strategy team to ensure that the field has the latest data from cross functionals such as RGM and Category Strategy to build a strong sales forecast.

What you will do...

  • Provide strategic recommendations and guidance to field sales teamsbased on in-depth analysis of forecasts and market data. Collaborate to create action plans that improve forecast accuracy and drive business results, balancing customer needs with company goals.

  • Develop and deliver monthly forecasting performance outlooksagainst key KPIs. Communicate insights clearly and concisely to Customer Vice Presidents and Customer Sales Leads to influence planning and execution.

  • Create an acute understanding of monthly and annual forecasting: process milestones, stakeholders and software applications.

  • Serve as a key partner to cross-functional teamsincluding Customer Strategy, Brand, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), and Category Strategy. Equip Customer Sales Leads with tools and insights to support business initiatives and achieve operating plan commitments.

  • Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and trade fund allocation processes, ensuring field sales perspectives are represented and aligned with broader strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with field sales to evaluate and optimize promotional support planswithin established guardrails, ensuring alignment with return on investment (ROI) targets and strategic priorities.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of rolling 3-month field sales projectionsusing TPM, IRI/Nielsen, and other relevant data sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Leverage expert knowledge of the TPM systemto identify planning improvements through accurate and efficient system inputs.

  • Lead or support special projects and initiativesas needed to address evolving business needs or strategic opportunities.

Who you will work with...

  • Develop a productive working relationship with Customer Sales Leads, RGM, Customer Strategy and Category Strategy that has open communication and on-going touch points

  • Develop a collaborative relationship with counterparts in RGM, Category Strategy and Customer Strategy

What you bring to the table ... (must have)

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 8+ years of prior internal or external sales experience

This role is based in our HQ office in Camden, NJ 3 days a week (hybrid).

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$108,800-$156,400

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
