Description
LaForce is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day shipping, receiving, and delivery operations from our Austin, TX branch. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of products to our Austin-area customers.
What You'll Do:


  • Oversee all branch shipping, receiving, warehousing, and delivery functions, including coordination with third-party delivery services.

  • Work hands-on in the warehouse, providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members.

  • Directly supervise warehouse employees, carrying out responsibilities in line with company policies and applicable laws - including interviewing, training, assigning work, reviewing performance, and providing feedback.

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments - ensuring materials are staged, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse and dock environment.

  • Manage and coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and meet DOT and safety regulations.

  • Support inventory management, warehouse organization, and general building and grounds upkeep.

  • Step in to perform warehouse or delivery functions as needed.


What You'll Bring:
We're looking for a leader with strong management skills and a hands-on approach who can effectively coordinate logistics, delivery, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has an acceptable driving record, along with an understanding of vehicle handling, load capacity, and DOT standards. An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, is required. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. 2+ years of military experience is also considered as a substitute for relevant experience.
