Description
Our Trex Trailer Mechanic is responsible for performing safe, professional mechanical repairs and DOT inspections on Trex fleet trailers, including walking floor bulk trailers, flatbeds, vans, containers, and pneumatic tankers. Conduct yard checks, maintain service records, communicate trailer status, and support overall fleet safety and reliability. Welding skills preferred. This is a Full-time Monday - Friday (7 AM - 3 PM) postion. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Physical Demands: In this role, you must be able to lift 50 pounds, be able to work from heights, stand for extended periods and climb ladders. Work Environment: This job takes place in and around a manufacturing facility. This role will be exposed to a wide variety of environmental situations, including a wide range of temperatures. Employee's will be expected to wear appropriate PPE at all times. Experience and Education: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Must be able to perform a Federal DOT Inspection. * Must be Wheel End and Air Brake Certified.
