Description Employment Status:Full time Shift:Day/Evening (United States of America) Facility:4444 Electric Rd - Roanoke CP07 Carilion Medical Center.

How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:Monday - Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Facilitate professional development trainings. Programs may include new hire orientation, manager-in-training programs,
Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and development programs.
Develop training curricula, instructor manuals, learner guides and other materials Manage the learning environment for classroom setup, systems setup, course materials, media, and on-line learning.
Must be able to facilitate on-site or virtual trainings in a variety of settings for small or large audiences.
Evaluate training program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Recommend modifications to course content to enhance programs, resources, and tools and the facilitation of materials.
  • Provides COE knowledge to discussions, projects and initiatives.

  • Participates on HR project teams. May lead/co-lead projects. Monitors content and timelines; works to ensure deadlines and needs are met using collaborative practices.

  • Focuses on process improvement and proactively presents solutions.

  • Develops and maintains working relationships with other departments and external customers/vendors. Promotes effective relationships and outcomes. Maybe primary contact for vendors.

  • Uses data to determine trends that may result in planning for additional services or other opportunities.

  • Anticipates client needs and develops collaborative solutions, evaluates outcomes and takes corrective actions, if necessary.

  • Produces products and services that are tailored to the specific needs of the situation, using expertise to align with overall organizational goals/objectives.

  • Serves as a culture and change management champion. Gains support of key stakeholders by educating them on issues and practices, and how they align with overall organizational objectives.


What We Require:

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: 3 years of general HR related experience required. Completion of a master's degree in a related field with demonstrated relevant experience may substitute for experience requirement.

Licensure/Certification: None

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team environment and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities.
