We are seeking a skilled QualityAssuranceAnalyst with automation testing expertise to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Kelmar's KAPS system through comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies. The ideal candidate combines strong technical automation skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to mentor junior team members. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst position requires working in a fast-paced Agile environment with occasional after-hours testing to support production deployments. This is a remote position with the option to work in any of Kelmar's offices including Rockland, MA; Wakefield, MA; or Wilmington, DE.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Learn how Kelmar's KAPS system functions in all areas and how different configurations affect outcomes
  • Test each UAT environment and utilize the Integrated Testing Lab within a sprint for efficient development
  • Test each State client's production environment every six weeks after production deployments
  • Full regression testing of new environments set to be delivered to clients for implementation
  • Test new features, enhancements, fixes
  • Alert manager and development team of all possible defects
  • Write test cases for both manual and automated testing
  • Write tickets and communicate deficiencies in a concise manner
  • Write or update documentation as needed
  • Mentor new and junior QA Analysts
  • Design, develop and expand automation testing frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency
  • Create and maintain automated test suites for various functions of KAPS
  • Identify test scenarios suitable for automation
  • Analyze automation test results and reporting metrics on test effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of software testing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a geographically distributed team
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule as necessary for testing production deployments that occur after business hours or on weekends
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., TestComplete, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, Junit, or similar)
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with automation testing
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now and in the future

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Compensation for this role varies depending on several factors including work location, level of experience, and skill set. As required by applicable law, the hiring range for this position is $75,000-85,000.
