Job Description

We are seeking a Data Science Technical Consultant to join our team and help deliver impactful industrial data solutions to our customers. This remote role blends technical expertise with consultative engagement, focusing on building and integrating data-driven solutions in industrial environments. This role involves technical deployment, data modeling, and process optimization to help clients improve throughput, reduce bottlenecks, and increase operational efficiency.

You'll work closely with clients to understand operational challenges, design and implement solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on industrial controls, data integration and ingestion, data modeling and visualization, requiring both technical depth and domain knowledge.

You will report to our Digital Consulting Principal and can work remotely.


Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers to define requirements and design tailored industrial data solutions.
  • Work on-site with customers to undertand their processes, constraints, and business objectives
  • Develop and deploy solutions using PLC programming, edge data acquistion technology (sensors, gateways, industrial PCs, etc.), and the development of process models
  • Develop models representing production flows and operational constraints
  • Integrate solutions with industrial equipment, including conveyors and packaging systems.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and oppoturnityies to improve productin flows
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle-from concept to deployment.
  • Document solution designs, workflows, and best practices.
  • Support customer teams with training, troubleshooting, and optimization.


The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.


The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Logix programming (Rockwell Automation). Proficiency in languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, & Function Block Diagram
  • Hands-on experience with data acqusition software and protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
  • Understanding of SCADA
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, with exposure to production line optmization, controls, and industrial automation.
  • Experience in industrial automation, control systems, or manufacturing data environments.
  • Experience with industrial data platforms
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, .NET
  • Experience with FT Optix, Grafana, Influx DB, Machine Builder Libraries & Studio 5000
  • Solid domain knowledge in Filling & Packaging operations, including interaction with conveyor systems.
  • Expertise with motion control systems, including servo motors, drives and conveyors
  • Familiarity with machine learning or statistical modeling in industrial contexts.
  • Consulting experience in manufacturing or process industries.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer-facing role.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from 117,360.00 - 176,040.00 USD Annual, with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
