Position Summary:

Metropolitan Commercial Bank is engaged in a comprehensive, multiyear technology upgrade initiative called "Modern Banking in Motion." This upgrade will introduce a new best-of-breed technology stack that powers exceptional client experiences along with industry-leading security and risk management tools.

The Quality Assurance Intern will assist the Business Units in their testing of the new applications that are being implemented as part of the Bank's Core Banking Transformation, ensuring that any defects have been identified and that functionalities are working as expected, prior to going live.

This position will report to the FVP, Application Development and Support Team Manager

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with experienced quality assurance analysts to gain insights into creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Testim for web and mobile applications.
• Understand the best practices of organizing test cases, test plans, and test results in Jira, and mastering test documentation practices.
• Run automated tests, analyze results, and report defects using Jira or the vendor ticketing system to enhance your skills in detecting issues and improving software quality.
• Automate steps in Testim to build a regression automated test suite, developing proficiency in automation and user experience testing.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Good written and verbal communication

Potential Hourly Rate: $25/hr
