As a champion for usability and accessibility, you'll lead user research, ideation, and testing to ensure every interaction is seamless, engaging, and aligned with modern design best practices. Join TechFlow and play a key role in advancing innovative, user-centered solutions that power the next generation of federal technology.

This role champions the client's product vision through user research, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing to deliver engaging, accessible digital experiences.

  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to align design concepts with the customer's product vision and system objectives.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across applications.
  • Apply accessibility (Section 508) and usability best practices to ensure all designs meet federal compliance and inclusive design standards.
  • Use data-driven insights and user feedback to iterate on designs and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Support Agile development teams by providing design assets, specifications, and guidance throughout the sprint cycle.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to leadership, stakeholders, and the customer for review and approval.
  • Stay current with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve user experience strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including work on enterprise web applications or federal digital services.
  • Proven ability to translate complex user and system requirements into elegant, intuitive design solutions.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG) and experience designing for compliance.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting federal IT systems or government digital transformation initiatives preferred.
