Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Program Manager, Manufacturing & Materials Integration to support project management of new product introductions and material management processes within PDW's advanced production environment from new product development through production release. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that all materials, components, and processes meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance as we move from prototype development into full-scale production.

What You'll Do


  • Provide project management on new products and engineering changes to ensure accurate execution within Production Operations (Supply Chain, Production Planning, Materials Management, Production, and Shipping).
  • Collaborate with Project Engineering to align and coordinate efficiently all new products and engineering changes through the entire product lifecycle
  • Oversee coordination of production inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and traceability of materials from R&D through full-rate production release.
  • Operations including supply chain, production quality, and material flow to reduce lead times and costs while increasing reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout all aspects of Production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, product, supply chain, production, test engineering, and sustainment teams to ensure a seamless transition from development to release.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, new product development, vendor qualification, or quality leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of new product development and introduction processes in an accelerated fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/MRP platforms, engineering change management, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent PDW in front of senior leadership, customers, and external partners.
  • Strong background in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one) required.


Preferred


  • Proven experience scaling production operations to high-rate production volumes
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - startup or tech industry experience a plus


Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment. Must be physically capable to lift / carry up to 25 pounds

Work Environment

This position typically operates in a standard office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment and may involve exposure to electro-mechanical manufacturing and may require occasional travel to suppliers. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard works hours for this position are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with occasional overtime as operational needs demand.

ITAR Requirement
