Job Details

As a Senior Manufacturing Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of operational excellence, empowering the manufacturing team to deliver quality product safely, efficiently and effectively. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the manufacturing operations align with the site annual and strategic goals. This role is located onsite in Clinton, PA a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Essential Duties:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.

  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of engagement, empowerment, continuous improvement and safety.

  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including workforce, materials, and equipment, to meet production goals.

  • Process Improvement: Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

  • Environment / Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.

  • Performance Metrics: Monitor production metrics and KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Operations Management) or equivalent experience. Required

  • Master's Degree. Advanced degree. Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Operations leadership and or CI roles (within the medical device industry preferred)

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in process improvement and Lean methodologies.

  • Excellent data analysis skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong project management and change management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead cultural change. Required

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Proven influencing skills and demonstrable skills in overcoming resistance to change.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory authorities.

TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt. Preferred
