As a Security Professional - Healthcare Facility Patrol Driver in Fairfax, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment. This position requires the ability to drive as part of your responsibilities. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, while remaining mindful of the healthcare environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or issues according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.
• Assist with crowd control, visitor management, and/or access control as needed, maintaining a professional presence in all areas of the healthcare location.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed in emergency and/or crisis situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must provide proof of required hospital vaccinations.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
