Description
We are looking for a Production Supervisor for our client in Lockport, NY!
  • $80k-$100k based on experience
  • 12 month contract position
  • 1st shift with potential to support 2nd shift/overtime if needed
  • Start ASAP!
Job Duties Include:
  • Ensures department is in compliance with all safety standards and procedures at all times; immediately addresses safety concerns.
  • Makes hiring, promotion, and termination decisions.
  • Monitors time and attendance; approves time off requests, ensures the accuracy of timekeeping system for payroll purposes.
  • Prepares and communicates performance evaluations according to deadlines.
  • Trains staff on the use of all ERP tools and operations processes and procedures.
  • Delegate work and coordinate schedules utilizing available skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Supports and ensures adherence to company"s policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Ensures business objectives regarding volume, quality, and cost are met or exceeded; develops and executes production plan in the most cost effective and timely manner.
  • Establishes manufacturing priorities and allocates resources.
  • Ensures all products being produced meet quality standards and ensures continual improvement with overall quality of product.
  • Identifies issues effecting efficiencies and develops and implements solutions as necessary.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within an electro-mechanical assembly / testing manufacturing environment
  • HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Hands-on soldering experience and knowledge of surface mount and through hole assembly procedures and standards.
  • Experience with MRP systems and SAP preferred
