Job Description:

Overview:

The Senior Director of Logic Product Development will lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of FormFactor's foundry and logic probe card products for semiconductor test. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, particularly in test technology. The Senior Director will work in close collaboration with product marketing to provide technical insights on emerging market trends (e.g. high performance computing, advanced packaging, silicon photonics, high speed test, thermal challenges, pitch scaling) to set product direction and lead a cross-functional team to achieve product development milestones, including performance, lifetime, cost, market window, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with FormFactor's business goals and market needs.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

  • Collect and translate customer input into actionable development strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to validate product concepts and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer service and support to define and prioritize product features and requirements.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

  • Drive the adoption of AI-driven solutions to shorten design timelines and improve time-to-market for new products.

Minimum of 14+ years of related experience, including leadership roles, with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 10 years experience; or equivalent experience| Required

Pay Range:

$224,200.00 - $294,210.00

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $224,200.00 and $294,210.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
