DSV - Global transport and logistics Location: USA - Lancaster, Midpoint Dr Division:Solutions Position can be based at main US Campus Locations (Lancaster, TX | Aurora, IL | Port Reading, NJ | Nazareth, PA | Fontana, CA) SUMMARY The Manager of Engineering is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and cost-efficient solutions built on best practices, tailored to customers objectives, while driving innovation to streamline operations, solve challenges, and consistently fulfill our commitments. To the above, includes implementation of current business projects required to expand business or correct current issues with poorly performing operations. The Manager is responsible for tracking and maintaining their individual engineering metrics that will meet or exceed performance goals. In addition, this position is also responsible to aid in developing, coaching and mentoring the other engineering team members to build engineering competency and grow talent. This person will also have responsibility to support operations in order to meet budgeted operating profits and cost reduction objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES * Advanced knowledge of statistics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / DESIRED SKILLS
* E-commerce experience including starting up small to large volume solutions * Experience in multiple warehouse automation applications (Pick to Light, Automated Sortation, Voice Pick, conveyor design, etc.) * Experience in LMS implementation and/or steady state execution * Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously General Qualities* Communication - written/verbal * Responsible * Proactive * Customer Service driven attitude * Work team oriented * Logistics knowledge * Analytical skills Working Conditions * Based on the nature of DSV Business, position may perform the assigned activities inside any DSV sites and change shifts as needed. * Willing to travel to support project delivery and mentoring activities. Historically 25-40% of the time. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
