Performs generator operation as well as performing Production Operator Level I & II duties which may include forklift operation, material handling and sorting, inspecting and/or cylinder maintenance work

  • Inspect gas cylinders to detect surface defects

  • Operate Dapco in order to conduct testing of defects and thickness of cylinder walls

  • Calibrate and adjust ultrasonic testing equipment to required standards and settings

  • Review and interpret test results and documentation as it relates to local, state, and federal compliance and DOT regulations

  • Record test results, cylinder serial number, and test date in a timely and accurate manner

  • Stamp test date and label gas cylinders once ultrasonic testing is complete

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.

  • Minimum of 6 months as Cylinder Processor Level 1 with 120 hours of UTT Level 1 Training is preferred.

  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

  • Basic computer knowledge is required.

  • The ability to read and comprehend all written documents and instructions.

  • The ability to convert decimals to percentages and metric to English units is required.

  • The ability to become forklift certified is required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm
