A Social Media Manager position in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This role will be responsible for developing and executing the organic social media strategy and content for three (3) of our core brands: Chateau Ste. Michelle, 14 Hands, and Columbia Crest, on predominantly Instagram and Facebook, while providing oversight and thought leadership to external resources supporting social media needs for Liquid Light and our luxury brands portfolio.

This is a full-time salaried role requiring a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days a week in office. There will be some weekend work to support Summer Concert Series and other on property events.

Social Media Manager job responsibilities include:



  • Define and develop social content strategy for social media platforms, including content pillars, post cadence and content media mix with a goal of increasing social following and engagement for Chateau Ste. Michelle
  • Manage monthly content calendars in accordance with content strategy, brand goals, and DTC goals
  • Write social post copy using brand voice and identity, and keeping social SEO in mind; resize images and video assets according to platform specifications
  • Storyboard and develop Reels, targeting a minimum of 2-3 reels per month, depending on the brand
  • Manage social community, responding and interacting with comments and messages, tagged stories, etc., within 24 business hours, and same day for Chateau Ste. Michelle's Summer Concert Days
  • Use Sprout Social to schedule content, perform community management and build reporting and insights
  • Perform photo and video shoots, and use Adobe Creative Suite products, Canva, and in-app tools (e.g. Instagram Reels) to edit content
  • Conduct photo/video shoots including sourcing photographers, finding locations, gathering props, building mood boards, shot lists, etc.
  • Oversee and manage influencer marketing strategy with agency resources
  • Manage external partners (digital agencies) to deliver social content strategy and execution for SMWE's Power Brands Portfolio.
  • Work with cross-functional DTC partners to guide social content and execution for SMWE's luxury wine portfolio.
  • Maintain monthly social media performance reports, keeping track of KPIs, content performance using various data sources including social platforms, social management tools, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Keep up to date with social media landscape, emerging content trends, new platforms, etc., and provide POV on application for relevant brands


Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, including managing brand social media accounts specifically on Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Experience with Google Analytics and social media management tools like Sprout Social and Later
  • Experience using photo editing, graphic design and video editing tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, Canva, in-app social media tools, or other similar tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


Your Compensation:

$83,374.00 - $108,319.00 per year based upon relevant experience.
