Experienced Aviation Technician

STS Aviation Services is hiring Experienced Aviation Technicians in Melbourne, Florida.

The minimum experience requirements are no less than 24 months of applicable experience on Commercial and Large Regional aircraft Repair, Modification, and Overhaul. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of previous experience working in a Commercial MRO environment.

The workload is primarily A220 C Checks and A320 C Checks, as well as a variety of other Installation and Modification programs scheduled to come in over the next year including Wi-Fi installs, Cockpit Mods, and Interior Reconfigurations.

• Performing Overhauls, Diagnostics and repairs of aircraft Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems and components
  
• Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and deicers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems
  
• Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations
  
• Conduct various repairs involving part locations and replacements with an ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, safety manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives and blueprints to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
  
• Remove and repair or replace any and all parts using accepted and approved data
  
• Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance
  
• Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft
  
• Follow safety rules and procedures
  
• Follow FAA and company policies and procedures
