Marketing Operations & Communications Lead (Partner Marketing)

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA. Please only apply if you are local to the LA area and can start immediately.


Summary

We are seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented Operations and Communications Lead to support the marketing organization of a global entertainment and streaming platform. This role focuses on driving cross-functional planning, communication, and project execution to enhance engagement and strengthen relationships with global partners. You will play a key role in coordinating marketing efforts, managing communications, and ensuring seamless execution of partner-focused initiatives.


Our Ideal Candidate


  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, partnerships, communications, or operations, ideally within a fast-paced, matrixed, global media or entertainment environment



  • Passion for media, entertainment, and partner marketing, with a strong foundation in cross-functional coordination and communications strategy



  • Must be proficient in Keynote and comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders



  • Skilled in collaborating with marketing, creative, operations, and executive teams across global organizations



  • Able to manage multiple projects independently, from briefing through execution and delivery



  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders



  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail



  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights


  • Partner-facing experience is a plus

    • You won't be partner facing in this role, but you will need to understand the strategic alliance. Understanding this relationship is vital for appreciating the organization's position in the industry, the motivations of studios, and how the work contributes to these high-stakes collaborations.




Job Description

In this role, you will manage cross-functional project timelines and communications that support partner marketing initiatives for a global streaming brand. You'll partner with marketing, operations, communications, and executive stakeholders to drive the creation, coordination, and timely delivery of materials and campaigns.

This includes developing partner communications such as newsletters, slate updates, and presentations; managing global partner screener distribution; and supporting planning and execution of global partner events. You'll also handle marketing budget management, including forecasts, purchase orders, and invoices, while fostering strong relationships across the organization to drive engagement and alignment.

You will also maintain internal tools and resources supporting the partner marketing team's operational excellence and communication flow.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience



  • Background in marketing operations, communications, or entertainment partnerships



  • Experience building and delivering executive-ready presentations




Additional Requirements

This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA and requires hybrid work (on-site presence as scheduled).

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $74.62 per hour.

This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
