Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Wage: $18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with a proven ability to manage returns, inspect products for quality, and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate is skilled in forklift operation, material handling, and data entry, with a strong commitment to safety, organization, and efficiency in every task. Known for reliability, teamwork, and ensuring every product meets company standards before it moves forward. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Lenexa, KS. Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Inspect returned items for damage, defects, or discrepancies - Accurately document findings and update return records in the computer system - Process return transactions and ensure proper handling of damaged or defective goods - Move and organize returned products as needed (up to 50 pounds) - Operate a forklift occasionally (minimal usage) - Maintain a clean and organized workspace Warehouse Associate Requirements: - Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly - Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift - Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may vary in temperature - Ability to perform repetitive motions and maintain focus during detailed inspections - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Sit-down forklift experience - Ability to lift to 50 pounds - Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email, inventory systems) - Prior warehouse or inspection experience preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
